Arts Summer Camp

Centner Academy Art Camp will take place from June 12th to June 30th. Camp hours are from 9am to 3pm. Weekly price is $420 + $30 materials fee. Weekly sign up.

Our Art Camp will foster a sense of wonder, curiosity, and creativity as students explore a multitude of artistic techniques including sculpture, collage, clay, printmaking and more! Students will dive deep into an age appropriate studio art experience where each week we will explore art and artists through a different theme. Mixed media projects will fill our days, with the addition of some fun outdoor recess time as well. By continuing their artistic practice into the summer, kids will gain new skills to express themselves in fun and meaningful ways. Art Camp is mixed elementary age, intended for Grades K-5.

Session 1 Theme: UNDER THE SEA

Make a splash and dive deep into the cool ocean blue to explore the fantastic creatures and hidden treasures that make up marine life. Whether your camper prefers high-seas adventures or a sunny day at the beach, this session delights with artwork inspired by the wonders of the aquatic world.

Session 2 Theme: MYTHOLOGICAL MAGIC

Through the looking glass and over the rainbow, artwork this session delves into the magical realms of fairy tale and fantasy. Unicorns, dragons, and wizards inspire art that activates the imagination and becomes the stuff of legend!

Session 3 Theme: THE WILD LIFE

Every living thing, from flora to fauna, inspires artwork during this session,as students explore the rich biodiversity of our planet. Campers will learnabout the habits and habitats of favorite animals and create art inspired bythe natural world while experimenting with a diverse array of media andmeans of expression.

All students attending Arts Summer Camp must bring:

● Snack and Lunch from home (Following school guidelines). *Lunch and snacks are NOT provided.

● Labeled Water Bottle

● Labeled 1 change of clothes and a hat

● Labeled Indoor Shoes

● Labeled Sunscreen for recess time
