Speech and Debate Club

The Speech and Debate Tournament Team will meet twice a week afterschool with a focus on preparing students in Middle and High School for competitions throughout South Florida. Monthly tournaments will take place on Wednesdays for the MS team in the Palm Beach/Boca area while the HS team will be competing on the weekends at monthly South Florida CFL tournaments and at selected invitationals.

During the practice sessions, students will be able to work on their individual events and receive personal coaching while conducting practice rounds, practice speeches & performances, and practice congressional chambers with their teammates. Heavy emphasis will also be placed on providing specific feedback and instruction for each event to provide opportunities for team members to develop and improve their skills.
