This program focuses on building strength and improving the student's athletic condition. Through performing functional training exercises and weight training, the student-athlete will improve his physical abilities.
Warm-up:
Dynamic stretching (e.g., leg swings, arm circles)
Light cardio (e.g., jogging, jumping jacks)
Functional Movement:
Bodyweight exercises (squats, lunges, push-ups, pull-ups)
Agility drills (ladder drills, cone drills)
Balance (balance exercises)
Strength and Conditioning:
Weightlifting (barbell exercises, dumbbell exercises)
Plyometrics (box jumps, medicine ball slams)
Resistance band training
Sport-Specific Drills:
Drills tailored to specific sports (e.g., basketball shooting, soccer passing)
Cool-down: static stretch
